It depends on the product. Print Only and Print + Mat orders use Hahnemühle German Etching — a 310gsm, 100% cotton fine art paper with a subtle textured surface that is acid-free and archival. Framed and Framed + Mat prints use Enhanced Metallic Art (EMA) paper, a premium photo substrate chosen for its colour depth and compatibility with the acrylic glaze. Both are museum-quality and built to last generations.

Try to capture the card in flat, even lighting. Flatten out any curled edges where you can, and place the card against a slightly contrasting background. A clean, well-lit photo gives us the best starting point for your restoration.

Every print is produced at 300 DPI, the same standard used by professional galleries and fine art printers. The result is crisp, detailed, and rich in colour.

The Print + Mat is your recipe card print set into a window mount: a precisely cut opening in a thick board that frames the image cleanly on all four sides. The board is 2.4mm thick, snow white, and has a subtle texture that gives it a gallery feel. It arrives ready to hang, slide into a frame you already own, or prop on a shelf. No additional framing required.

A framed print comes in a solid wood frame with acrylic glazing, ready to hang straight out of the box. A Print + Mat is the window-mounted board only, without a frame. It works beautifully on its own or inside a frame you choose yourself. If you already have a frame you love, or want something lighter and more flexible, the Print + Mat is usually the better choice.
